Claire – Centre Manager

Claire Penno holds a Diploma in Children’s Services, as well as a current First Aid Certificate and Epi-pen training.

Claire has a passion for childcare and has worked in the industry for approximately 9 years, in a variety of different settings; from Before and After School Care, Community Based Care, Kindergarten to finally finding her place in Long Day Care.

Before commencing as Centre Manager at Sweetland Road Early Learning Centre, Claire worked as a Reliever, Qualified Room Leader and a 2IC. Claire has worked with all ages from 6 weeks – 6 years and brings her childcare knowledge and management experience to her position of Centre Manager at Sweetland Road Early Learning Centre.

Claire’s personal philosophy is one of open communication between staff and parents, and has an open door policy should you have any questions or concerns.Along with the staff at Sweetland Road early Learning Centre, Claire looks to provide all children with a home away from home; a place that they feel and safe and secure in.

The programs are open ended and play based learning, providing children with fun and entertaining options, which also gives them the chance to grow and learn while still having a great time.
